Te Matatini National Kapa Haka Festival 22 to 26 February 2017

Te Matatini National Kapa Haka Festival is held every two years and hosted by a different iwi within Aotearoa, New Zealand. In February 2017, Ngati Kahungunu will be the proud host of the event. This will showcase 2000 elite Kapa Haka performers and attended by more than 50,000 people from Aotearoa and overseas. It also attracts a television, radio and live stream audience of 150,000 per day, rising to 200,000 on the finals day.
